It wasnt a pressing need but they really really really wanted eakridge who seattle took likely on purpose right before this pick . He was the fail safe . One thing snead does is always draft players by who will be free agents the next 1 to 2 years which woods and kupp will be. Hes planning for the future and this is a good start. With him on the field good luck loading the box are marching up 1 on 1 with him

Austin got drafted by jeff fisher thr worst offensive coach of the last 30 years. 3rd austin was actually slower. Atwell will be fine with mcvay they were just talking about it on espn that atwell may have landed in the best scheme and position of all the wrs that were drafted

@@fishii4588 Actually, the Chiefs are the type of team that would draft this guy. And somehow make it work. I don't think he will succeed in the league because he has no elusiveness. But if any team could use him effectively, it's probably the Chiefs.

As a rams fan this pick made me mad at first. But they always draft well . Almost always even If the pick seems wrong . Mcvays offense have been elite with speed. And now with a much better QB I xant even imagine what hes gunna have schemed for this kid. Hes faster than cooks or Watkins ever were. At least in terms of flat out speed. With tutu defenses will have to drop a safety back no more loading the box on akers. I love the jacob Harris pick to . Big ass target who's also real real fast and agile for his size .
